Many come to me for post operative care. Sometimes there is a need for both manual lymphatic drainage with deep tissue massage and machine contouring. The machine contouring option includes ultrasonic cavitation, radio frequency, vacuum therapy with radio frequency and infrared, micro-current with LED Therapy, electro-muscular stimulation, and cupping.
Previously it was hard to fit that into the budge as it was 30 minutes for the MLD for $60 and then for 45 minutes to an hour once a week for $100 - $125. There are some doctors that want the patient to be seen 4-7 times a week for MLD and also multiple times a week for the machines.
To accommodate this I have created a new service. It is the 30/30 MLD and Machine Contouring. This will include 30 minutes of MLD and possibly some deep tissue techniques when appropriate and 30 minutes of machine contouring. This type of session can be done 3 times a week. Then if you need to see me 5-7 times a week we will fill in that time with just the MLD.
There are restrictions on the machine contouring safety. Radio Frequency (RF) can be done on the whole body, but it can only be done a total of 60 minutes a week. Ultrasonic cavitation (UC) cannot be done on the back or bony areas. This restricts UC from being done on the back, neck, face, & ribcage. It can only be done on the abdomen, buttocks, anterior/posterior legs. It cannot be done over the shins. The electromuscular stimulation (EMS) can be done every other day For 30 minutes. Micro-current can be done daily. Cupping can be repeated after a 72 hour rest period from the previous session. This is also true of the vacuum therapy.
I have added this session to the online selection for $110. The package of 3 is $300. I will be creating another package soon that will include 3 30/30’s and 2 PPSMLD (post plastic surgery manual lymphatic drainage). This will make it easier for those that wish to pay weekly and need to see me 5 times a week. I do take two days off a week (well in theory - I’m still teaching on those days or doing tarot readings and Magic Moon Gemstones down the street). If you have to do 7 times a week we will figure that out for a couple of weeks, but I cannot do it for 30 days.
